Priscilla Barnes: Building Community

About the Episode:

In this episode, I interview my friend and former teammate, Priscilla Barnes.  She is a recently tenured Professor at Indiana University with her PhD in Public Health.  She is also actively involved in her community as a group fitness instructor at the local YMCA.

I had so much fun chatting with her.  She is this positive, inspiring, multi-dimensional person who I am so grateful to know and I’m excited to share our conversation with everyone.

It really energizes me to know that she out there doing the work she is doing, because it centers around creating connections and forming community. We talk about the roots of these values and explore how they shape her life and her passions right now.

We also talk about what how she is striving to find balance.  And how a dear friend of hers is helping her to do so. (I love this part!)
